<< Background >>We applied to exchange good practices between 3 teams with different working experiences. This exchange offered educators an opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences, approaches and successful strategies in addressing the needs of the over 50s population. From our experiences prior to the project, we identified the following educational needs for seniors, which this project aimed to address:- general medical education (such as: healthy nutrition, balanced diet, progressive muscle relaxation, reading food labels);- stress management (mindfulness and meditation - stress reduction techniques)- complementary therapies that help well-being (art therapy, guided imagery, therapeutic writing, laughter therapy, music therapy)- sleep management. For each of these topics, we prepared a training session with seniors from the 3 countries. The interest in these meetings was very high, as evidenced by the number of participants much higher than that proposed in the Funding Application.<< Objectives >>1. Training of 6 adults from all 3 partner organisations involved, through 2 transnational trainings. These people then engaged in knowledge exchange, skills development and capacity building activities related to healthy eating and stress management for people 50+.2. Organization of a minimum of 10 seminars open to a wide range of participants (educators, stakeholders, people 50+). We aimed for these seminars to attract a minimum of 20 participants from Romania, Cyprus and Poland.Benefits for seminar participants:- learned about best practices regarding healthy ageing and stress management, which can improve their well-being and quality of life;- came into contact with people with similar concerns, which facilitates their learning process and exchange of good practices;3. Organizing activities for online audiences:We carried out online dissemination activities, including websites, social networks, newsletters, EPALE posts, emails, to make information accessible to a global online audience interested in adult education and healthy aging.<< Implementation >>Within our project, all partners agreed, had at their disposal and implemented activities according to the following management tools:1.
