<< Background >>The project was essential for further development of the institutions involved, since there was a need to promote online learning courses for audience with fewer opportunities. There are many courses available provided via Coursera, yet in most cases they are elaborated by universities, thus reaching the level ogf higher education. There are not that many opportunities for the persons willing to study university level. However, the offers for those with lower eduation to promote their professional growth are limited. Having gained experience in working with different target groups (unemployed, persons with lower education, etc.) the partners had recognized that the target group members can be motivated if the courses are conducted in interesting and friendly to learn format. Besides, the group members need psychological support and motivation, and the belief they are welcome to labour market. The courses were introduced in the Moodle platform and for the partners (Greece, Italy, Finland, Cyprus) this was the first attempt to use Moodle and to administer the courses as teachers visa this platform. The staff of the Latvian coordinator also learned new insights when using Moodle, e.g. adding new courses and participants.<< Objectives >>The objectives: To create and promote learning opportunities among all citizens and generations via introducing an online learning platform, where courses aimed at increasing digital skills are available. A special benefit declared was the psychological support and professional guidance provided for the target group members - to motivate their further development and growth and better integration into the labor market. Basing on the situation there is a factsheet with the most frequent pros and cons elaborated basing on the questions and the interviews with the pilot group learners.The project focused on: - Creating and promoting learning opportunities among citizens and generations - the courses were created to be offered to all people and generations, by specially targeting, yet not limiting them to the priority group defined in the project (people with fewer opportunities in terms of education, long-term employed persons, people with disabilities and refugees). - Improving the availability of high-quality learning courses for adults. The online learning courses will be designed to provide high-quality and easy-to-learn content. << Implementation >>There were four main activities foreseen and implemented in the project: PR1 Training event - The power of learning in the digital environment The event took place in Riga at the beginning of January 2023 and was organized in a hybrid format. It provided information on the particularities of digital transformation in e-learning and the particularities of the target groups defined. PR2 Elaboration of the Programme Toolkit. The toolkit was elaborated after the training event, with additional information based on the research results. PR3 Programme platform and course delivery—this was one of the main activities that involved not only developing learning materials but also teaching partners how to use the Moodle system. Special material with instructions was elaborated for the partners, and getting to use the Moodle system was one of the additional benefits. PR4 Final meeting on the project results - The value of face-to-face communication was underscored in this significant part of the project's final meeting. It was a reminder that online meetings can never fully replace the depth and nuance of in-person interaction.<< Results >>The outputs stated in the Project were reached and even exceeded the ones planned:PR1 Training event - The power of learning in the digital environment. PR2 Elaboration of the Programme Toolkit. Based on the results of the Training event and additional materials studies, a Programme Toolkit was developed to help the tutors work with the learners. Special parts from the Toolkit were derived and included as the introductory notes for the participants.
