PLATEFORME DE FORMATION SUR LA PRÉVENTION DES ABUS ÉMOTIONNELS ET SEXUELS CHEZ LES JEUNES

<< Background >>The access of every young European to emotional and sexual education is a European struggle led by Countries, NGOs, and different European institutions since many years. Nowadays the access to comprehensive education to sexuality is a right. To achieve that in a proper way in different countries, school-based sexuality education programs are based on aprocess which consists of teaching and learning cognitive, emotional, physical and social aspects of sexuality with the aim to giving to children and youngsters knowledge, skills, behavioral patterns and values which will enable them to preserve their health, wellbeing and dignity. It is recognized that a comprehensive sexual education would allow youngpeople to develop their social and sexual relations based on respect, enabling them to think on the way their choices affect not only their well-being but the well-being of other people, too. However, sexual violence of adults and youngsters rapidly develop and despite the implementation of educative programs on sexuality among young people, nothing changes. << Objectives >>the PREVEX project aims at: 1) creating a synthesis and a perspective in terms of contents and practice, 2) describing educational aspects and evaluating the impacts of new training adapted to academic situations, 3) producing targeted resources on critical cases of sexual and sexist violence 4) training professionals which are capable to increase actions and enhance skills of youngsters. The overall objective is to give a better offer for initial and continuing university education by updating the knowledge and methods of the struggle against gender violence and sexual violence especially on teenagers. For us, it is a question of creating interdisciplinary bridges in the framework of social studies of deviant phenomena in the modern sexuality.<< Implementation >>In order to reach those goals, firstly we have to reunite in a targeted project the most updated universities in this field and gather disciplines such as education sciences, psychology, criminology, sociology, social work and digital sciences. In this regard we will publish two exhaustive literature reviews in Europe and in USA taking account of new phenomena(nudes, monetizing bodies, e-prostitution, sexual violence, violence against women and homosexuals, etc.). Our objective is, based on valid research, to define stable knowledge on sensitive subjects. Afterwards we will create an inventory and a critical analyses of teaching contents spaces in educational programs to understand their spaces, their connections with other contents and interdisciplinary or non-interdisciplinary approach. Based on this work, we are going to create digital modular resources which will be used as educational aspects in setting up courses for university partners. Finally, training trainers will enable in each university to create a group of competence composed by professionals to deploy newuniversity education.<< Results >>The implementation of PREVEX project should contribute to several outcomes: Academic outcomes: enhancing university competences by updating scientific knowledge in social issues of sexual violence. We would like that our project enables us to go beyond the purely disciplinary view and to meet our approaches according to a study of victims but criminals, too.Understanding the switching to sexual violence, describing the signs and the causes inducing to act is an objective of helpful knowledge. Educational outcomes: this type of topic needs to be updated regularly and may concern, in initial and continuing education, a different public sometimes very different from the University. The implementation of digitalresources, of a shared Mooc will enable the delocalization of university in future a better impact for students and professionals. Social outcomes: there is an evident lack of competences and knowledge of professionals in terms of security, prisons, education, justice, social work in order detect those violent practices, being able to understand thesephenomena and act or prevent.
