CareerBot - Chatbot based Career Guidance

<< Background >>The CareerBot partnership aimed to enhance the digital readiness of the career guidance sector by implementing the CareerBot methodology and tool, facilitating blended guidance sessions, and leveraging customised Labour Market Information (LMI) to empower marginalised job seekers. Our focus was to place Career Guidance Practitioners at the centre of this transformation, assisting them and their organisations on the path to digitalisation, enabling them to offer the best possible advice to their clients.<< Objectives >>Through our methodology, job seekers were enabled to gather relevant information before, during, and after counselling sessions, allowing the valuable time spent with counsellors to be used more effectively for personalised discussions. The CareerBot project is a piloting initiative that addresses the increasingly complex role of career guidance, which must adapt swiftly and flexibly to the evolving demands of the modern labour market.<< Implementation >>The CareerBot project delivered four key outcomes:•CareerBot Content and Methodology•CareerBot Tool•Blended CareerBot Training for Career Guidance Practitioners•Transfer Handbook for Implementation with a Focus on Organisational DevelopmentA significant training event for Career Guidance Officers was held in Athens, Greece, in October 2023. This event was followed by a national piloting process in Austria, Greece, Ireland and Spain where the methodology was implemented at a national level. Each implementing partner organisation - TSD in Austria , BJC in Ireland, ACP in Greece and CIS in Spain - organised external workshops to help at least 3 more organisations to implement project outcomes. Hafelekar (AT) and BJC (IE) could win three organisations in Germany as implementing partners. In total 15 organisations expressed their interest to implement the CareerBot methodology. To further disseminate the project's outcomes, 13 Multiplier Events were organised at two different stages, engaging relevant stakeholders and raising awareness of the CareerBot methodology, Tool, Training, and Transfer Handbook.<< Results >>The CareerBot project delivered four key outcomes:•CareerBot Content and Methodology (PR1)•CareerBot Tool (PR2)•Blended CareerBot Training for Career Guidance Practitioners (PR3)•Transfer Handbook for Implementation with a Focus on Organisational Development (PR4)All results are available on the EPRP database and on our Website: www.careerbot.eu
