Sun, Water, Wind of renewable energy

"<< Background >>This S2WRE project responds to the EU priority on combating climate change. This project gave our European electricians' vocational sections (36 French, Polish and Turkish students) the opportunity to raise awareness of the changes needed in their way of working to integrate the fight against climate change into their practice. They will thus become more eco-responsible European electricians, particularly in terms of the construction of renewable energy installations.<< Objectives >>We wanted to raise awareness and strongly mobilise our young future European electricians with collaborative transnational activities to this societal challenge of fighting climate change. They had to question the ""why"" of RE and their future role in this environmental challenge in the current global context. Our pupils had to think together on eTwinning and during the mobilities about the best technologies and solutions and promote them during the different exhibitions. In order to address the climate problems and challenges in the immediate future.Furthermore, through this S2WRE project, we wanted to open up our pupils to European citizenship on the principles and values of equality, freedom, and in particular dignity with regard to the necessary fight against climate change #GreenDeal of the European Commission. This common value gives the necessary unity to face the challenges of the present and future society. That is why this S2WRE project is directly linked to their training as an eco-responsible European electrician.<< Implementation >>The S2WRE project addressed activities contributing to the fight against climate change through practical work on the part: transport, networks, distribution of renewable energy and installation of photovoltaic panels. And activities where the students met European electricians working in: hydroelectric dams, a photovoltaic park, a wind farm, the design and manufacture of solar panels and companies using renewable energy at the forefront of sustainable development. This is a good opportunity to make them aware of the fight against climate change in the practice of their future profession. Groups of French, Polish and Turkish pupils have carried out weekly eTwinning activities of video conferencing and concrete activities on the creation of: a puzzle, a quiz, a logo, a slogan, an educational game, practical work on renewable energy, a magazine for each mobility in English and French. We hope that in the coming years, the students will be able to promote and be ambassadors of the EU Commission's commitment to reduce by 2030 and to be carbon neutral by 2050 #GREEN-DEAL.<< Results >>MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS :- 6 photovoltaic educational systems (3 PL & 3 TR)- 1 educational game: DOBBLE on the theme of electricity- 3 digital books on mobility in English available on our TwinSpace, on our school websites and on Beneficiary Project Details - BPD- 3 books on mobilities in French available on our TwinSpace, on the LPN website and on BPD- 1 charter of the eco-responsible European electricianOTHER ACHIEVEMENTS :- Logo & Slogan- 6 exhibitions on renewable energies (LPN cafeteria, ZSET hall and MSMTAL library), 2 Erasmus Days (LPN&ZSET hall)RESULTS ACHIEVED BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS EU PROJECT FOR :* THE STUDENTS- Original learning experience for these students of the pro section- Regained self-esteem and motivation to learn- Broadening of their cultural, professional and academic horizons in further study- Skills and abilities that will be strengthened- Development of a sense of belonging to the EU* THE TEACHERS- Exchange of good teaching practices between teachers- Work more transversally as a team on this project- Improving the classroom atmosphere* THE VET- Enhance the image of our schools- To be recognised as actors of international mobility"
