<< Background >>The project addressed two key issues: social isolation and limited action toward sustainable living. Social media creates an illusion of connection, weakening real-life community ties. Meanwhile, although many intend to live sustainably, few follow through due to lack of knowledge or support. The project tackled both problems by equipping community facilitators and educators with tools and creating inclusive learning spaces. It promoted deep, transformative learning for regenerative lifestyles that enhanced individual and community well-being while protecting nature. Strong community networks helped foster sustainable habits—like car-sharing, clothes swaps, or potluck dinners—by enabling access to resources, role models, and accountability. The two partner organizations organized events, developed and translated educational content, and tested new learning methods. These efforts contribute to social cohesion and sustainable development within the involved communities.<< Objectives >>The main goal of the project was to foster individual, organizational and community learning that generates connections, social responsibility and sustainable development. The objectives were:-To establish cooperation between two organizations in adult education that will improve the quality of their work forsustainable development.-To grow people’s capacity to connect in regenerative ways and develop communities.-To create educational content about self-development, community development and regenerative lifestyles.<< Implementation >>The project we implemented the following activities:- a transnational seminar in Romania;- an online training of Offers and Needs Market facilitators and certification;- creation of educational articles and podcast episodes, on topics related to personal and community wellbeing, sustainable living, regenerative relationships, their translation in Icelandic and Romanian and testing their effectiveness;- implementation of Offers and Needs Markets in Iceland and Romania;- a webinar about regenerative lifestyles.<< Results >>The project produced several concrete outputs: 8 web articles, 8 short videos, and 2 podcast episodesin English, Romanian and Icelandic, and a webinar in English, on topics of wellbeing, sustainability, regenerative practices, and social connection.
