Task-based language teaching with the aid of artificial intelligence

<< Objectives >>The main objective is to enhance implementation of AI-assisted Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) in secondary schools, making language education more effective and inclusive. Specific objectives include:- Introduce teachers to AI tools that facilitate task design, assessment and feedback- Provide students with engaging tasks to raise their communication skills- Meet diverse needs of learners through adaptive learning experiences - Focus on students disadvantaged in language learnining<< Implementation >>- Research recent advances in using AI to teach and learn languages- Formulate a pedagogical model that defines how AI can be effectively used in foreign language teaching- Develop a Guide for teachers on AI-assisted TBLT- Offer online course on AI-TBLT- Run pilot activities in secondary schools- Present case studies, good practices of AI use for foreign language teaching and learning- Ensure wide outreach of the developed resources<< Results >>These are the main results of the project:- Teacher’s guide introducing TBLT principles, AI tools for task-based teaching and practical integration strategies. - Online course with modules on using AI for task design, personalized learning, real-time feedback and assessment. - Case studies of successful AI-assisted TBLT implementations in partner schools, highlighting diverse classroom contexts and challenges addressed.
