Smart Solutions for Food Security and Affordability

<< Objectives >>The project addresses the critical challenge of food security and affordability by developing sustainable solutions through education, innovation, and the business-education-science model. Its goal is to enhance the capacity of farmers, agribusinesses, and institutions, implement effective resource management models, and promote a sustainable food system that ensures access to quality food for all through cross-sector collaboration and knowledge transfer.<< Implementation >>The project will feature training seminars, multiplier events, and an international Balkan Forum engaging farmers, agribusinesses, and institutions. A comprehensive methodology and handbook will be developed and available as Open Educational Resources (OER). We will establish strategic partnerships based on a business-education-science model. The project website and online platform will also provide long-term access to the results.<< Results >>The project aims to create a comprehensive methodology and handbook for sustainable food systems as Open Educational Resources (OER). It will certify 15 trainers and provide training for 75 farmers and agribusiness representatives. The project will engage a vast network of stakeholders by leveraging the Balkan Forum and organizing multiplier events. Additionally, the project online platform will ensure ongoing access to knowledge and resources, supporting the sector's sustainable development.
