Covid19 (C19) pandemic showed us that youth organizations (YO) can be so far and so close at the same time and that we need to establish and embrace systems that will allow us to continue with our usual working practices while #stay(ing) at home. Past couple of months were characterised with use of ad hoc digital solutions. As a consequence, many aspects of YO work were suffering, from organizational democracy and management, networking, establishing of partnerships and new ideas, to educational services to young people. Concern appeared that digital links can’t replicate real once and that digital education can’t be substitute for in-person one. For this reason, we decided to step into project that will allow us to produce a system which will bring us and our digital organizational work as close as possible to the reality, our needs and standards of work. Main aim is to empower YO across Europe to meet the needs of digital shift of youth work through increased capacities, knowledge and innovative tools. Objectives: - to engage YO and young people into joint development of systematic and innovative solutions for supporting online youth work; - to create an online solution ensuring that digital youth work is replicating in-person work as close as possible in the three main areas – internal organizational work, NFE and networking; - to build capacities of YO to switch to digital work without consequences to its impact, principles and values; - to engage YO from across Europe to Connect, Engage and Empower through online activism/participation. Activities will be organised in 5 WP: WP1 Project Management, WP2 Idea Development, WP3 Tools/outputs production, WP4 Building know how, WP5 Dissemination and sustainability. Main outcomes will be: Do (NOT) digitalize me” research report; I-go digital” curriculum for Engage, Connect and Empower pillars, “Digital YOu” web-based tool, Pool of trainers, Network created.
