<< Background >>The presented project was a continuation of activities for people with intellectual disabilities. The aim of the project was to improve the situation of people with intellectual disabilities during the Covid19 pandemic by creating tools for remote art therapy. The Foundation has been supporting the rehabilitation of people with disabilities for years, implementing cultural and educational projects. The best form of therapy that improves manual skills, eye-hand coordination, increases the level of satisfaction and self-confidence is art therapy, a method based on broadly understood art and creativity. During the pandemic, we noticed that isolation and interruption of therapy has drastic effects on the functioning of people with disabilities. An attempt to support in the form of a telephone conversation is insufficient. It is necessary to create tools that facilitate remote work with this particular group, this tool must be properly prepared, in a clear and legible way, it should provide step-by-step instructions. An image supported by a conversation with an instructor will significantly facilitate the performance of the assigned activities. We have created 11 instructional videos enabling you to conduct art therapy remotely.<< Objectives >>The Foundation has been supporting the rehabilitation of disabled people in Occupational Therapy Workshops for years, implementing cultural and educational projects. The Occupational Therapy Workshop is a day care facility for people with intellectual disabilities. It deals with social and professional rehabilitation and improves the mobility and manual skills of its participants. Thanks to this project, we have provided facilities working with people with intellectual disabilities with tools to support their work in the event of the inability to work with them remotely in the facility. These tools include 11 instructional videos, including two in the form of animations with selected art therapy techniques. Thanks to international cooperation, we have been able to create products of the highest quality, usability and meeting the highest educational standards. Intellectual products were evaluated and tested in partner countries to assess their therapeutic and educational value. By testing the videos on a large, international audience, we adjusted their quality to the capabilities and expectations of people with intellectual disabilities.<< Implementation >>We started by selecting and properly preparing the target group. We carried out a diagnosis of the situation of people with disabilities during the pandemic in Portugal, Spain, Bosnia and Poland. We learned about their needs and expectations, which formed the basis for further activities and projects. We created an ICT lesson scenario adapted to the needs and capabilities of the target group, a short instructional film and conducted training in partner countries to prepare recipients to use the tool created.Teams were formed in each country, which created scenarios and 11 instructional videos for remote art therapy. Each of the videos presents the art therapy technique step by step in a simple and clear way. Two of them will be in the form of animations, to obtain information on which form of communication is more attractive and effective for a given target group. The work will be divided into stages, so that each material is tested, evaluated and possibly corrected. The Italian partner provided technical support to the partners in creating the videos, ensuring professional processing and editing of the recorded material. A project logo, leaflets and promotional banners were created, as well as a website and a FB profile.<< Results >>The most important result is the improvement of the situation of people with intellectual disabilities in the post-Covid19 pandemic period, through: - we learned about the situation of people with disabilities during the pandemic (4 reports from Poland, Portugal, Spain and Bosnia and Herzegovina)- we exchanged experiences related to working with people with disabilities during the pandemic and after it ends.- we reviewed the forms and techniques of therapy and rehabilitation of people with intellectual disabilities in the project partner countries that can be helpful in remote work.- tools supporting rehabilitation and therapy for people with intellectual disabilities during the pandemic andafter it ended were created – 11 instructional videos with selected 8 forms of art therapy for people with intellectual disabilities – 2 animated videos, 9 recorded- we tested and improved the created tools in 4 partner countries (Spain, Poland, Bosnia, Portugal) which gives a higher quality of the product and guarantees an international dimension- an ICT training scenario and an instructional video adapted to the needs of people with intellectual disabilities were created- computer training was conducted- 5 Multiplier Events
