Our project promotes cycling as a solution that is in line with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):SDG 3 - Good health and well-being: Cycling fosters active lifestyles, reducing health risks linked to sedentary behavior.SDG 7 - Affordable and Clean Energy: Bicycles efficiently use renewable power, cutting reliance on fossil fuels.SDG 11 - Sustainable cities and communities: Cycling promotes safe, inclusive, and eco-friendly urban living.SDG 12 - Responsible Consumption and production: Using bikes for transport aligns with mindful consumption practices.SDG 13 - Climate Action: Cycling curbs transport emissions, aiding in decarbonizing societies.SDG 17 - Partnership for goals: Our initiative unites global efforts for sustainable development through cycling advocacy.Knowing the potential of young people and their desire to undertake changes for improvement, we believe that it is necessary to provide them with information and experiences that help them improve their skills to be able to undertake these changes.<< Objectives >>The SCORE Project aimed to achieve:* Increasing the number of environmentally conscious and healthier individuals.* Promoting energy-efficient transportation to reduce total energy consumption.* Empowering participants with modern communication and e-cycling technology to integrate cycling into city systems.* Encouraging sustainable resource usage by altering transport habits.* Supporting cycling as a low-emission transport mode to combat climate change.* Establishing networks for joint efforts toward sustainability.* Hosting local events to engage communities in sustainable practices and promote cycling.* Supporting student initiatives and entrepreneurial skills for future career opportunities.The project's ultimate goal was to encourage people to live more environmentally friendly lives by encouraging riding, encouraging teamwork, giving people more power through technology, and raising the next generation to make society more environmentally friendly.<< Implementation >> The activities implemented in each country as part of the project:* In LTT activities;Portugal:* Autonoma University Seminars: Explored climate change, health, and sustainable transportation in collaboration with Lisbon's cycling initiatives.* Sport/Educational Visit to Anadia: Explored various cycling aspects like high-performance centers and mountain biking experiences.* Cycling Tours: Encouraged exploration using smart cycling apps for city and nature routes.* Parque Eduardo VII Activities: Offered recreational and social opportunities.Turkey:* Outdoor Cycling Tours: Explored city and nature routes, focusing on energy calculations and social media sharing.* Seminar with EGESEM: Educated participants on climate action and green practices.* Educational Visits: Focused on natural park visits and insights into bicycle companies.* Networking Meeting: Collaborated with NGOs to promote healthy habits and cycling culture.Estonia:* Workshops with Relive App: Engaged in healthy activities using modern tech.* Seminar on Safe Cycling: Educated on traffic rules and safety measures.* Educational Visits: Explored sports lifestyle and city tours. * Outdoor Cycling Activities: Explored city, nature routes, engaged in orienteering, and used green transportation.Italy:* Seminar on Nature, Sport, and Nutrition: Explored the connection between nature, sport, and health.* Educational Training at Cycling Club: Insights into sports organizations and competitions.* Workshop on Giro d'Italia: Shared experiences in organizing cycling races.Spain:* Seminar on Responsible Consumption: Informed about responsible bike use in consumption, a participatory dynamic where the 4 pillars of the project and their relationship with sustainability discussed: local food, plastics, the textile sector (fast fashion) and sustainable mobility. A very complete workshop where environmental problems are learned and emphasis is placed on how to work with them on a day-to-day basis* Workshops on Bike Repair: Taught repair skills to reduce waste and promote recycling.* Outdoor Cycling Activities: Engaged in cycling adventures promoting health and environmental awareness.* Videos Creation: Collaborative videos promoting cycling, responsable consume to fight against and climate action.The students will be able to create their advertising, vindictive or argumentative video related to the sector they have worked on during the week. The final audiovisual product includes all the work and highlights the skills of cohesion and teamwork, audiovisual and sustainability.Hungary:* Study Visits: Explored renewable energy policies in transport.* Thematic Workshop: Designed sustainable transit solutions.* Cycling Tours: Explored regions, using smart cycling apps for energy-efficient travel.Each country organized a variety of activities, including seminars, tours, workshops, and educational visits, fostering cycling, sustainability, and community engagement in line with specific Sustainable Development Goals.* In Local Project activities;We carried out the following activities as part of our local efforts:*Presentations and exhibitions: Participants shared their perspectives on cycling and sustainability.*Collaborative Community Events: Actively engaged the community.*Annual Awareness Days: Special days dedicated to promoting cycling and sustainability.*Effective Communication: Used a variety of strategies to disseminate information.<< Results >>Our project's concrete outputs and outcomes included:* As dissemination tools, participants generated animated movies, video presentations, and infographics(educational materials) in mixed international teams.*Participants improved their ICT skills, language fluency, and entrepreneurial abilities.*Presentations, articles, and reports on sustainable development goals were generated by colloborative work in mixed international teams.*A website, social media pages, and e-Twinning platforms have been established to allow for continual sharing and dissemination of project outcomes.* Activities such as sports workshops, cycling excursions, and the compilation of maps, images, and movies displaying ecological areas are examples of localised engagement.*Created educational materials for use in a variety of educational contexts, assisting instructors, trainers, and youth services in their courses and platforms.* Developed global collaboration capacities, strengthening engagement with clubs, local governments, and other sectors.These outputs and outcomes are critical in promoting sustainable practises, creating awareness, and fostering collaboration in a variety of sectors relevant to cycling and sustainable development goals.
