Restoring emotional and psychological well-being in and beyond prisons

"<< Objectives >>The RESTART main objective is to restore the emotional and psychological well-being of the (ex) prisoners, in order to promote their inclusion in the social context.The project will follow 3 Objectives:O1 Provide tools to the staff that works inside the prison to support the emotional and psychological well-being of the inmates;O2 Support the inmates in the development and re-discovery of their socio-emotional skills;O3 Promote (ex) prisoners’s social inclusion beyond the prisons.<< Implementation >>In the phase 1 (RESTORE) the activities will be collection and description of intervention methodologies, including a field needs analysis for the development of the Ebook. In the phase 2 (RISE), a model approach will be planned, developed, and tested with beneficiaries to increase inmates' social-emotional skills. Finally, RESTART recommendations will be collected and disseminated as Guidelines, as well as developing short video testimonials and learning pathways to facilitate social inclusion<< Results >>The Ebook “Methodological Baseline for Restoring Emotional and Psychological well-being” for educators supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of prisoners; the ""Model Approach to Rise the socio-emotional skills of inmates"" for facilitators; “Guidelines to Restart beyond the prisons” and 4 Learning Pathways to be disseminated with the local and European associations, including the production of 6 short testimonial videos. The outcomes as OER will be available on the website"
