ThreadCycle: Fashion for a Sustainable Future

<< Objectives >>The textile and fashion industry is responsible for 10% of global gas emissions, resulting in more carbon emissions than all international shipping and air travel combined.By highlighting the impact of climate change and the importance of sustainable practices in fashion, we aim to foster eco-consciousness while encouraging creative solutions to reduce textile waste and contributing to a healthier planet for future generations.<< Implementation >>We will organize workshops on recycling and sewing, where young participants will learn to craft outfits using recycled fabrics.The participants will also take part in fashion shows to showcase their creations.In addition, we will hold recycling drives to gather materials and host talks to raise environmental awareness. We'll set up an exhibition of these recycled fashion pieces and run swap events.With help of local organisations we will hold eco-friendly clothing donation.<< Results >>We aim to reduce textile waste and want our youth become more engaged in recycling efforts.
