TRAINING OF EDUCATORS FOR TRANSFER OF TRANSVERSAL SKILLS - improving competences for real Social Inclusion of people with cognitive disabilities

<< Background >>- Empowering adult educators by focussing with tailored, inclusive teaching practices so they can develop transversal skills among adults with cognitivedisabilities.<< Objectives >>-Fostering social inclusion and personal empowerment: The project integrates digital and non-digital tools, alongside a strong emphasis on socialnetworks, to create accessible learning environments for individuals with cognitive disabilities.<< Implementation >>The TETRA-S project developed innovative tools to enhance adult educators' competences, including educational frameworks, self-assessment apps, webinars, handbooks, and an interactive E-learning platform (MOOC). Activities included international and online meetings for coordination, a general management plan, and a dissemination strategy. Each partner formed local expert groups for feedback. A training session prepared educators for the pilot phase, and the project concluded with an international event to share results and promote MOOC integration and use.<< Results >>The concrete outputs and other *results of the TETRA-S project are:- tools for assessment and improving beliefs of adult educators;- tools for improving skills for adult educators to realize transfer and successful social inclusion;- integrated in an interactive MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), included in an developed eLearning Management System (LMS) that will host all training/learning content, such a handbook, and the developed webinars and apps. These results align with key EU initiatives, such as the European Pillar of Social Rights and the EU Pact for Skills. It hasempowered adult educators, developed personalized learning environments, and effectively utilized digital and social tools to foster social inclusion andlifelong learning. These efforts directly support EU educational and social objectives, as ie. those outlined in Principle 17 of the European Pillar of SocialRights, which emphasizes the inclusion and empowerment of people with disabilities. By advancing societal integration and personal empowerment foradults with cognitive disabilities, the project contributes meaningfully to the realization of the rights enshrined in the Revised European Social Charter.
